Two full-time, in-person School Psychologist positions are available for the 2025-2026 school year in Cupertino, CA, serving K-12 students. One role will cover two elementary schools (TK5), and the other will serve a middle school (68). Both positions will operate at their respective sites independently, participating in monthly meetings with district psychologists to collaborate and share best practices. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support student learning and development. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop appropriate educational goals. Develop and implement lower-level or initial behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs. Provide limited direct counseling, with scope varying by site. Manage caseloads, with approximately 61 students with IEPs at both the middle school and combined elementary sites. Collaborate with educators, parents, and district staff to foster positive student outcomes. Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist credential appropriate for California K-12 settings. Experience conducting evaluations and developing IEPs for diverse student populations. Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies. Ability to work independently and engage collaboratively in monthly professional meetings. Schedule and Location: Middle school hours: 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM. Elementary schools hours: Either 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM. Assignment dates: November 1, 2025, through June 5, 2026. Locations: Hyde Middle School (ZIP 95014), and De Vargas Elementary (ZIP 95129) with Faria Elementary (ZIP 95014).
