Senior Electrical Engineer – Hardware | In-Person - Houston, TX
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive design experience to lead the development of new products and drive improvements, sustaining, and troubleshooting of existing designs. This role is suited for a self-directed engineer who thrives on complex technical challenges and high-impact system design. You will work on projects ranging from advanced component-level designs to highly complex systems, applying sophisticated analytical and mathematical models to evaluate performance, reliability, and lifetime.

Direct Hire $135K- 140K DEO

Responsibilities
Lead electrical design efforts for analog and digital systems
Architect and improve complex electrical systems and subsystems
Evaluate technical trade-offs and guide design decisions
Troubleshoot complex hardware and system-level issues
Support sustaining engineering and product lifecycle improvements
Perform and oversee system design, validation, and verification
Create and review technical documentation
Interface with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Maintain schedules and support customer-focused solutions

Required Skills
~ BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
~5+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
~ Proven senior-level experience in product and system design
~ Analog and digital circuit design (DC to RF)
~ Signal processing analysis and control systems
~ Sensors and signal conditioning
~ Communication systems
~ Python programming skills
~ Schematic capture experience (Altium preferred)
~ Design for Manufacturability, Test, Serviceability, and Cost
~ Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
~ Experience with electrical laboratory equipment
