Locum Tenens Opportunity for Interventional Radiologist Near Bismarck, ND We are currently seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens position near Bismarck, ND. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, as well as a willingness to take on-call shifts that include both evenings and weekends. Position Details: Specialty: Interventional Radiology Location: Near Bismarck, ND Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Type: Days with evening and weekend call Shift Hours: 8-hour days, typically 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; evening call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM; 24-hour weekend call Required Procedures: Diagnostic Vascular Intervention: Angiography (venous and arterial) Therapeutic Vascular Intervention: Angioplasty (venous and arterial) Stenting (venous and arterial) Thrombolytic therapy Embolization therapy General Interventional Procedures: Vascular access devices (e.g., PICCs, central lines, port-a-cath insertions) IVC filter placement TIPS procedures Aspiration and drainage procedures Percutaneous needle biopsies (including bone) Extractions (biliary & renal) Abscess drainage Thoracentesis, paracentesis, myelography Pain Management Procedures: Joint and epidural injections Vertebroplasty Arthrograms Blood patch Other Procedures: Uterine artery embolization Liver Y90/TACE Gastrostomy tube insertion Nephrostomy and ureteral stent insertion Renal fistulograms Cryoablation Preferred but Not Required: Neuro-stroke thrombectomy Practice Setting: Hospital-Based Setting: Full hospital support with specialized IR staff EMR System: Epic Requirements: Board Certification: Required State License: Active North Dakota medical license required (no licensing assistance provided) Certifications: ACLS required Experience: Must be proficient in a wide range of IR procedures; neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy experience is a plus but not mandatory Work Expectations: On-Call Requirements: Evening call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call Patient Load: Mix of diagnostic and therapeutic cases, with a wide variety of procedures expected daily This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for an interventional radiologist with extensive experience and a passion for patient care. xrczosw The role offers flexible scheduling, a variety of procedures, and the chance to work in a supportive environment.
