A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support early childhood evaluations within a preschool setting located in Silver Spring, MD. This position involves collaborating with the Preschool Child Find team to assess and evaluate young children across the county, ensuring timely and accurate identification of developmental and educational needs. This contract role is ideal for professionals seeking part-time work with a flexible schedule over a defined period. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-person observations and assessments of preschool-aged children. Complete detailed reports based on evaluations. Lead and participate in meetings regarding assessment findings and recommendations. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support early childhood development. Maintain consistent coverage approximately from March through July 2026. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Credentials as a licensed School Psychologist with experience in early childhood assessment. Proficiency in conducting developmental and psychological evaluations for preschool-aged children. Strong report writing and presentation skills. Ability to work independently while coordinating remotely with team members. Flexibility in scheduling, with an estimated commitment of about 24 hours per week.
