We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Attorney with a strong background in Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. This exciting opportunity involves representing insurance companies in defense of both bodily and personal injury claims. Our ideal candidate should possess an in-depth knowledge of insurance defense law, products liability, and premises liability defense, and have a proven track record of successful defense litigation. This is a unique role that requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex legal issues.
Representing insurance companies in defense of bodily and personal injury claims.
Providing expert legal advice on insurance defense law, products liability, and premises liability defense.
Conducting thorough and detailed investigations into insurance claims to determine the validity of the claim and the potential for defense.
Drafting, reviewing, and modifying legal documents related to insurance defense cases.
Preparing and presenting defense cases in court.
Negotiating settlements on behalf of the insurance company in an effort to resolve the case as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
Keeping abreast of current legislation and legal developments in the field of insurance defense law and adjusting strategies accordingly.
Collaborating with other members of the legal team to develop and implement effective defense strategies.
Providing training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Current license to practice law in the state.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense law, with a particular focus on products liability and premises liability defense.
Proven experience in representing insurance companies in defense of bodily and personal injury claims.
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex legal issues efficiently.
Strong research and report writing skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in an understandable manner.
