Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Interventional Rad Tech- Diagnostics Open Position: 1 Location: Bronx, NY Facility: Jacobi Medical Center Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Start Date: 01/01 – ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Qualifications Education: • Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program Licensure/Certification: Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH American Heart Association BLS Advanced-Level Certification from ARRT to include one of the following: -ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology. -ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology. -ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology. Preferred Experience: •Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting Job Summary An interventional radiology technologist will assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body.
