Fire Protection Designer

We are a full service, single-source contractor providing design, installation, service, and inspection of fire protection, suppression, sprinkler, and alarm systems. Taking a collaborative approach, our team works closely with clients to develop the right solutions to help ensure people, facilities, and overall businesses are prepared to survive and minimize a fire related event.
Job Summary: Established and high performing Class A fire protection contractor in Central Virginia has an opening for an experienced fire sprinkler designer. Two to three years' experience in the design and implementation of water based fire sprinkler systems with NICET II or higher certification is a desire. Applicant should be versed in design, BIM processes, hydraulic calculations, fire pump selection, survey and shop listing for fabrication. Work history with commercial, multi-family, mixed use, and warehouse projects a plus.
