Thoracic Surgeon - Phoenix, AZ THE OPPORTUNITY Join one of Arizona's largest cardiovascular programs - a 28+ physician multispecialty cardiac group established in 1994. This thoracic surgery position offers the volume of a busy practice with the support of an established cardiovascular team including cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists. YOUR CLINICAL PRACTICE Full-spectrum general thoracic surgery: - Lung cancer resection (lobectomy, segmentectomy, pneumonectomy)- VATS and robotic-assisted procedures - Esophageal surgery - Mediastinal tumors - Chest wall reconstruction - Pleural disease management MULTIDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION - Pulmonology referrals for lung nodules and lung cancer - Oncology partnerships for multimodal cancer care - Gastroenterology collaboration for esophageal cases - CT surgery colleagues for complex cases YOUR CARDIOVASCULAR TEAM - 28+ physicians (general cardiology, interventional, EP, CT surgery)- 9 clinic locations across Phoenix metro - Dedicated clinical and administrative staff - First assist support in OR - Experienced nursing and technical staff PRACTICE INFRASTRUCTURE - In-house marketing and business development - Centralized billing, credentialing, HR - Modern OR facilities - Administrative support so you focus on surgery COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Competitive base salary - Productivity incentives - Malpractice with tail coverage - Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life insurance - 401(k) retirement plan - CME allowance and PTO - Relocation assistance PHOENIX LIVING Arizona's capital offers year-round sunshine, professional sports, world-class dining, and easy access to outdoor recreation.
