Description UNC Family Medicine at Hedingham is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine). This clinic provides the opportunity to work with a a diverse patient population and the ability to make a difference in patient's lives. This position is open to both new and experienced physicians. Qualifications of the ideal candidate include: Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; An active, unrestricted NC medical license, or the ability to obtain one; An interest in working with a medically complex adult population; Experience and interest in working with mental health in a primary care setting is a plus. Licensure/Certification Requirements: DEA;ACLS;MD/DO Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English. REASONING ABILITY High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
