LEARN, Southeast Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites candidates to apply for an Associate Instructor opening at our Regional Multicultural Magnet School in New London, Connecticut.
The Associate Instructor will provide direct educational services to our students.
The Associate Instructor reports to the Principal and Assistant Principal.
Assist teacher to identify long and short-term individual students, class, and program objectives.
Assist teacher to plan and implement individual and group activities (tiered instruction, academic and playbased centers, circle time, technology activities, etc.) Follow routine school, program, and organizational procedures.
Handle personal information related to students in a professional and confidential manner.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
Must have earned an Associates Degree (or higher) and achieve a passing score on the ParaPathways Assessment.
Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) or willingness to obtain a CDA required.
