Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory accuracy while fostering a strong team culture built on leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support employees in alignment with GKN's Six Promises and cultural standards. Maintain a visible presence on the shift while directly coaching and mentoring team members. Manage team performance, including recognition, feedback, attendance tracking, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Ensure compliance with Safety, Environmental, Health, and Quality (EHSQ) standards and housekeeping requirements. Develop employee schedules, manage overtime, vacations, LOAs, and holiday coverage. Plan and support training, cross-training, and employee development initiatives. Expedite production, prototype, and PPAP parts to support internal operations and external customers. Coordinate with finance, planners, and cycle counters to resolve inventory and shipping discrepancies. Oversee EDI/ASN transactions, returnable dunnage control, and customer-owned packaging. Measure, analyze, and report warehouse performance and cost control metrics. Lead physical inventory counts and support corrective actions related to internal customer complaints. Ensure compliance with QS9000 and ISO/TS 16949 procedures and work instructions. Facilitate team meetings focused on quality, safety, productivity, cleanliness, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Required: High School Diploma (Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred). 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience. Experience working in QS9000 or ISO/TS 16949 environments. Proficiency in SAP Warehouse Management Systems. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Forklift certification and prior operating experience.
