Your role
Home Claims forms part of our Operations department which is known as the heart of Hollard. Our culture revolves around working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our customers. We support one another, ensuring all Hollardites are set up for success.

We believe in setting our employees up for success, which is why we provide 6 weeks of training. Our training program is conducted virtually so you can gain all the knowledge you need to excel in your role.
For Sydney or Perth based candidates, there will be a requirement to attend the office once per month and for company events. For candidates based outside a commutable distance to these locations, the role will be fully remote.
Key Responsibilities will include (however, not limited to the below):
Review and proactively manage allocated claims within Service Level Agreements and in line with regulatory requirements.
Communicate with the insured, policyholders, and other relevant parties to gather necessary documentation and information related to the claim.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer enquiries, concerns and requests in a timely manner.
Interpret policy coverage, and determine if coverage applies to claims submitted, escalating issues as needed.
Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
About You
Previous experience in a Contact Centre/Claims role is essential.
Home claims experience highly desirable with bonus points for storm/catastrophe trained applicants.
Strong telephony skills, including active listening to assess customer needs quickly and provide solutions proactively.
Desirable but not required: Experience with the claims management software, ClaimCenter.
Strong understanding of Customer Service ethics.
Excellent time-management skills in order to prioritise and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
Ability to respond to change positively and dynamically.
