What You'll Do

  • Produce preliminary and final plans and drawings using CAD software with a high level of quality, accuracy, and clarity
  • Prepare detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications for water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, and dry utility relocation or undergrounding projects
  • Assist in performing utility relocation coordination services for transportation projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, coordinators, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are consistent and coordinated
  • Maintain adherence to CAD production standards and file management procedures

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or greater (Associates preferred)
  • 1-2 years of AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or Microstation drafting experience
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work accurately and produce high-quality drawings and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
