MTM Transit in partnership with Sun Shuttle Dial A Ride is looking for Full-Time Drivers. We are hiring CDL Drivers to join our team in Tucson, AZ. We currently have training classes that start every week. CDL Requirements: Must have passenger endorsement, school bus endorsement preferred. Shifts will be assigned after training is completed Skills: Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic deviceAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to communicate with others and comprehend instructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedulesAbility to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulationsFamiliarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area What You'll Do: Provide safe and reliable transportationDemonstrate excellent defensive driving skillsProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersMust assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicleMust assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocolsEnsure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customerDemonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilitiesComplete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as requiredComplete paperwork as requiredUtilize tablets or electronic devices as required MTM Transit is Proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer MTM Transit is an equal opportunity employer who welcomes diversity and values the ways in which we are different.
