Packer We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for packing materials as they come off the production machine, building boxes, and staging materials for shipping. Shift & Pay 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm - $17/hr Responsibilities Pack material as it comes off production machines. Build boxes and stage materials for shipping. Ensure high-speed and accurate packing. Inspect and verify the quality of packed items. Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and managers. Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work orders. Use computers to access work instructions. Essential Skills Experience in packing within a fast-paced production environment. Ability to stand for long durations and lift up to 30 pounds regularly. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in reading SOPs and work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a clean room environment. Comfortable with gowning up in cleanroom attire. The job requires wearing cleanroom attire such as booties, facial hair covers, and hair covers. Close-toed shoes are mandatory, and lockers are available for personal belongings. The clean room is temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable work atmosphere. Candidates must be comfortable with extended periods of sitting or standing, up to 11 hours a day. Job Type & Location This is a permanent position based out of Vernon Hills, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
