The MSL is responsible for providing fair balanced, objective, scientific information, and education to opinion leaders (OLs), health care professionals, and to internal partners as required by scientific and business needs. The MSL is considered an established scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products per Therapeutic Area (TA) alignment. The MSL is responsible for staying abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in their therapeutic areas of interest. The MSL provides research support for company and investigatorinitiated research. Building external relationships with identified KOLs and health care providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.These relationships and engagements can include both virtual & inperson, with a prioritization of inperson engagements when appropriate.
Developing and maintaining a territory strategic plan, which includes educational activities with identified OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices.
The MSL is expected to possess foundational competencies in the areas of Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination.
Conducting all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines.
Ability to travel, primarily throughout assigned geography, with infrequent meeting travel outside of assigned geography. Travel for this role is estimated at 60%.
Consistently demonstrating strategic territory planning and ability to build strong relationships within the territory.

A PharmD, PhD, MD, w/ 2+ years relevant neurology, immunology and/or neuromuscular experience is required.
~2-3 years relevant work experience (clinical or research experience) is required.
This position is eligible for a company car through the Companys FLEET program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.
