POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
  • Supervise daily operations of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
  • Meet regularly with leadership to review, analyze, and develop action plans for productivity and loss prevention
  • Forecast hiring needs and maintains a pipeline of candidates
  • Provide support/backup to the Branch Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse lead role managing employees
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to twist, pull, push, and stand for long periods
  • Dependable and reliable with excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working in adverse climate conditions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external resources to generate results
  • Excellent communication skills while being comfortable delivering frequent direct written and/or oral feedback
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff
