We are seeking a Lead Azure Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud architectures that support enterprise operations and digital transformation. This role is ideal for a visionary architect who excels in solving complex technical challenges, guiding teams through modernization, and driving long-term cloud strategy. Must be willing to relocate to Irving, TX if not already local (relocation assistance provided) Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native architectures within Microsoft Azure to meet evolving enterprise requirements. Define and enforce Azure best practices, governance models, and compliance frameworks that promote operational excellence and security. Oversee large-scale cloud migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless integration with existing platforms. Implement enterprise-grade security protocols, manage identity and access controls, and ensure adherence to industry and regulatory standards. Build CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM or Terraform, and deploy automation solutions to streamline delivery and reduce risk. Partner with business, product, and engineering leaders to align technical strategy with business outcomes, facilitating solution design workshops and technical roadmaps. Continuously evaluate system performance and cost efficiency, recommending architectural and operational improvements to maximize ROI. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of IT architecture experience, including at least 5 years designing and managing Azure-based solutions. Industry Background: Experience within the insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries , with an understanding of compliance, data protection, and reporting needs. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of .NET (C#) development and modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, jQuery). Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing. Familiarity with Node.js, PowerShell scripting, Vue.js or React.js, Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Data Factory. DevOps Practices: Proficient in CI/CD, automation, and release management using Azure DevOps. Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
