Inventory Control Analyst

On-site | Toledo, OH About The Role Our client, a food manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to support production planning, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are available to meet customer demand by coordinating material movements, analyzing stock positions, and collaborating with operations, logistics, and quality teams. What You'll Do Monitor, plan, and optimize inventory levels to meet company goals and customer requirements. Coordinate and track inventory movements, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts, production schedules, and shipping timelines. Partner with 3PL providers and internal customer service teams to identify and resolve potential shortfalls. Collaborate with production and quality teams to address inventory or product issues impacting fulfillment. Perform root cause analysis for inventory variances and develop preventive solutions. Maintain data accuracy through proper documentation and inventory adjustments. Oversee and participate in cycle counting activities to ensure stock accuracy. Leverage Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft D365 to analyze and report inventory performance. What You Bring Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain Management or related field preferred. 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or production planning. Strong understanding of inventory fundamentals and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft D365 experience a plus). Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-moving environment. APICS certification a plus. Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000, annually, plus bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
