The ideal candidate is *organized*, *responsive*, and *technology-forward*—someone who values speed and precision without sacrificing client care. *Key ResponsibilitiesCourt Representation** Represent property management clients in *unlawful detainer trials, motions, garnishments, and post-judgment actions* in the Richmond market and outlying jurisdictions. * Handle daily court dockets with professionalism, preparedness, and strong courtroom presence. * Provide real-time updates to clients and internal teams after each hearing. *Client Communication & Support** Provide *legal Q&A* (client calls, emails, compliance questions). * Explain processes, timelines, and risks clearly while maintaining a friendly, solutions-oriented tone. * Participate in client trainings, webinars, and onboarding meetings. *Internal Collaboration** Work closely with the operations, technology, and collections teams to ensure cases move smoothly "from notice to writ to recovery."* Report risks, trends, or recurring client errors so the team can address them proactively. * Uphold Senex’s brand values: *speed, transparency, precision, and proactive communication*. *Qualifications** J.D. from an accredited law school. * Active license in *VA * (or willingness to become licensed and or in the process). * 1–5 years of experience preferred; eviction or collections experience is a plus but not required. * Courtroom experience strongly preferred. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail. * Tech-comfortable and willing to work within Senex Powered and other internal systems. *Competencies** *Client-First Mindset* — friendly, responsive, and solutions-driven. * *Operational Discipline* — able to hit deadlines, manage volume, and maintain accuracy. * *Clear Communicator* — breaks down legal steps in simple terms; sets expectations. * *Team Player* — works seamlessly with paralegals, operations, collections, and leadership. * *Adaptable* — comfortable with evolving processes and a technology-enhanced workflow. *Why Senex Law?** *30+ years of proven results* in the multi-family industry. * *Industry-leading technology* (Senex Powered) that automates filings and provides unmatched transparency. xrczosw * *Fast-paced, modern environment* with room for growth.
