A full-time, onsite Licensed Texas School Psychologist (LSSP/PSYCH) position is available to support K12 students in a West Houston public school setting. This role requires a valid and active Texas LSSP or PSYCH license and previous experience in school-based psychological services. The assignment runs through June 2026 and encompasses standard duties including student evaluations, behavioral support, and consultation with faculty and families.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active Texas LSSP or PSYCH license required (submission of a current license screenshot is mandatory)
Proven experience in a school setting working directly with K12 populations
Expertise conducting psychological evaluations and providing behavioral interventions
Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and behavioral challenges preferred
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Location and Schedule:
Position located in West Houston, TX
Monday through Friday, full-time, 37.5 hours per week
No part-time or virtual work options available
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings
Develop and implement behavior support plans tailored to individual student needs
Provide consultation and crisis intervention services within the school environment
Collaborate on individualized education program (IEP) teams and other student support initiatives
Maintain compliance with district guidelines and reporting protocols
