Locum Tenens Opportunity: Pediatric Physician Near Rocky Mount, NC We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity near Rocky Mount, NC. Position Details: Specialty: Pediatrics Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Scheduling need due to increased patient volume and the need for continuous care. Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Scheduling & Shifts: Patient Load: 2-6 patients per shift, depending on the volume and patient needs. Bed Capacity: 10 beds in the pediatric department. Rounding: Both in the morning and evening. Holidays Covered: 4th of July Thanksgiving Day New Year's Day Memorial Day Christmas Day Labor Day Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics. Licensure: No specific licensure requirement to bid, but a valid state license is required. Hospital Privileges: Not required, allowing for a faster start time. Admissions: Yes, the provider will be required to admit patients. Temporary Privileges: Available to expedite the start date. Certifications Required: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is required. ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS are not required. Additional Information: EMR System: MediTech, experience with this system is preferred but not required. Support & Collaboration: You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, with full support from nursing staff, pediatric specialists, and other healthcare providers. Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 7-10 days, allowing for a quick onboarding process. Multiple Providers: The facility is open to accepting multiple providers for this role.
