Key Responsibilities Business & Functional Analysis Collaborate with commercial lending, credit, underwriting, and operations teams to understand business needs and system requirements. Develop detailed business requirements, use cases, process maps, and documentation for enhancements or new initiatives. Conduct gap analysis to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in commercial lending workflows. Ensure processes comply with internal policies, credit guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, SBA, Fair Lending). Assist with audits, examinations, and risk assessments related to commercial lending operations. Monitor quality control findings and implement corrective actions. Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI), or data modeling preferred. Knowledge of commercial loan origination systems (e.g., nCino, Temenos, FIS, Moody’s, LaserPro) is a plus. Ability to analyze complex data sets and convert insights into recommended actions.
