Position Summary: The Sr Operations Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining an efficient, dependable, and profitable truckload brokerage operation by maintaining a knowledge base on customers, carrier requirements, and operating best practices. A strategic, client-facing professional who ensures customers achieve their desired outcomes, fostering long-term retention and loyalty. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Owner of all customer facing communication including the ability to find most efficient mode of delivery customers needs including developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned accounts Assist the Sales Leader by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts Ensure documentation is complete from carrier and customer to ensure efficient billing and customer collection Upholding professional customer service with existing and new accounts Maintaining an established process for future process improvements and technical efficiencies and continuing to engage with leadership on those findings. Meets monthly gross margin target for assigned accounts Perform other duties as needed Behaviors and Expectations: Customer Focus Understands the needs of our customers and how to make them consistently satisfied; Looks to bring new ideas, products and always provides solutions to customer problems; Responds quickly to customer requests and addresses inquiries with urgency; Delivers high quality work product on time every time without exception.
