Key Details: Position Type: Locum Tenens (due to a vacant position) Shift Hours: 7 AM - 7 PM, day shifts only, no call coverage required Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Licensed Beds: 138 Surgical Cases Per Year: 2,200-2,400 Number of ORs: 4 ORs and 4 NORA rooms Case Variety: Primarily focused on heavy orthopedic cases, no OB, open heart, or transplant surgeries Anesthesia Model: Collaborative team-based model with 2 MDs and 4 CRNAs Team Structure: You will be joining a collaborative and supportive anesthesia team, which operates under the leadership of a Regional Medical Director, a Chief Anesthesiologist, and a Chief CRNA. This leadership structure ensures a strong level of communication and teamwork within the department. The facility handles a variety of cases, but the primary focus is on heavy orthopedic surgeries. There are no OB, open heart, or transplant cases. The anesthesia model includes 2 MDs working alongside 4 CRNAs, ensuring a well-supported and efficient workflow. The specific weeks and days that require coverage will be available soon, offering flexibility for those who prefer to tailor their work schedule. This position is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist with strong orthopedic skills who wants to practice in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
