#As a Forensic Civil / Structural Engineer, you’ll investigate how and why civil or structural systems fail — applying your design and field experience to real-world cases.
Conduct field investigations involving civil-site environments, infrastructure, and large-scale land developments
Analyze design and construction deficiencies related to grading, drainage, stormwater systems, utilities, pavements, and hardscape structures
Prepare and review civil/site construction plans for regulatory bodies (FDOT, water management districts, municipalities)
Conduct unbiased forensic investigations for legal, insurance, and industrial clients
Write clear, well-documented engineering reports that explain causes and solutions in plain language
Stay current in your field through training, professional societies, and continuing education

#S. in Civil Engineering (M.5+ years of civil/site development or structural design experience
~ Strong technical writing and documentation skills
~ Self-driven and able to manage projects independently
~ Interest in forensic engineering, investigation, and expert consulting


#Physical & Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 50% locally and 20% overnight
Drive and occasionally fly to inspection sites on short notice
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
