Core One is seeking a Modelling And Simulation SME to support the program. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Roles & Responsibilities: Employ M&S tools across the entire space of DOTmLPF-P to support industry-standard and trade space studies evaluating war fighter capabilities, differing solution designs, program recommendations, and overall capability performance Develop alternative solutions and evaluations to inform decision makers and senior leaders on where to make force changes and apply limited resources to fill known capability gaps. Provide support to a wide variety of experiment campaigns in support of this effort Evaluate DOTmLPF-P to develop alternative solutions that may inform senior leaders on force changes, resourcing, and capability gaps Perform design, development, evaluation, and analysis in such areas as distributed simulation, object-oriented simulation, model validation and verification, and simulation and model development Implement and integrate appropriate M&S tool sets to support trade space studies evaluating war fighter capabilities, differing solution designs, program recommendations, and overall capability performance Participate in experimentation-related forums, working groups, and external assemblies (i.e. Conferences, technology shows, etc.) Examine information to figure out what is relevant to a problem and what methods might be used to analyse it, and provide recommendations to address the problem Travel up to 25% of the time on a monthly basis Prepare reports, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access) Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or modelling and simulation 5+ years' experience designing, implementing, and integrating modelling and simulation tool sets in such areas as distributed simulation, object-oriented simulation, model validation and verification, and simulation and model development 5+ years' experience utilizing C++ or similar programming language and software engineering employing tools and libraries for various operating systems 5+ years' experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint, Access, Excel etc.)3+ years of developing and presenting verbal and written products at military O5/civilian equivalent level Active TS/SCI Core One is an Equal Opportunity Employer. xrczosw All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
