The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in various types of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Duties** Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment. * Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. * Repair hydraulic systems and components as needed. * Conduct equipment repairs, including soldering and welding tasks when necessary. * Operate heavy equipment for testing purposes and to assist in repairs. * Perform heavy lifting as required to move parts and equipment. * Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working with industrial equipment. * Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency. *Experience** Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. * Familiarity with air brake systems and their maintenance is advantageous. * Experience with heavy lifting, forklift operation, and heavy equipment operation is essential. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. * Knowledge of industrial equipment repair techniques is a plus.
