On-time assembly of components and finished products according to all applicable specifications and requirements per prints, bill-of-material, work instructions, etc. Conduct testing of products according to test specifications. Essential Functions Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Perform a preliminary visual, quality inspection of items to detect obvious defects. Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies by hand per specification. Monitor inventory and advise lead/supervisor when reorder is necessary. Maintain and improve 5S standards in the cell. Comply with company policies, ISO standards, and applicable laws and legislation. Work towards SQDC target metrics. Pack items as required. Perform other duties as assigned. (U.S. Only) Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Ability to spatially visualize how parts, components, and sub-assemblies come together resulting in the quality assembly. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and use these skills to solve problems. Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, complete forms with accurate information. Must be able to properly identify, count, and maintain required inventory. Must be able to work as a cooperative and contributing member of the Team.
