An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary school students in Philadelphia, PA. This contract position spans the November to May school year and focuses on delivering specialized instruction within a positive and supportive learning environment. This role requires a Pre-Kindergarten to 4th-grade teaching certification or a valid Special Education license. The caseload includes 8 children, with a focus on autistic support and students with multiple disabilities. You will work closely with a mitted team to develop individualized education plans and implement engaging strategies that promote the academic and social growth of each student. Key Qualifications: Certified Pre-K to 4th-grade teacher or licensed Special Education teacher Experience working with autistic students and those with multiple disabilities Strong munication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload of eight students effectively Work Schedule and Location: Elementary school setting in Philadelphia, PA Hours: 8:30 AM 3:30 PM Start Date: Last week of August or September 2nd Responsibilities: Develop and deliver individualized instruction tailored to the needs of each student Collaborate with staff, families, and specialists to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation as required Promote an inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters learning and development Benefits include working with an engaged director who is responsive and readily available to support staff.
