Smith Builders is seeking a focused individual to supervise subcontractors and manage jobsites for residential and commercial roof replacement projects. Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction/roofing trade workers and their helpers. Perform both supervisory and management functions and also engage in the same construction/roofing trade work as the workers they supervise. Requirements * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Proven experience in roofing installation and crew supervision * Ability to navigate customer service databases, CRM systems, and other job-related software Duties * Set up project sites, including equipment and scaffolding * Identify and correct safety-related issues, ensuring all crew members meet OSHA safety standards * Work with the Production Manager to establish daily goals and direct the crew to meet those goals * Coordinate project activities with interior building operations and homeowner schedules * Protect buildings and interior contents during all phases of the project * Understand the complete roofing system being installed and oversee proper installation to ensure a functional final product * Upload project photos and maintain accurate CRM documentation throughout the project * Perform and oversee repairs by understanding how roofing materials and systems are assembled and disassembled * Communicate effectively with crew members, project supervisors, business owners, and customers * Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites at all times Skills Required * Strong ability to communicate effectively with crew members, project supervisors, and customers on-site, both verbally and in writing. Active listening is essential. * Knowledge of various roofing materials and the proper methods for installation and repair. * Proficiency in using all hand tools associated with roofing installation, including basic hand tools and specialized roofing equipment. * Ability to identify safety hazards on job sites and take appropriate corrective actions to reduce or eliminate risk. * Willingness to accept constructive criticism and learn from mistakes to improve performance. * Physical capability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment. * Ability to work safely at heights and access elevated areas using ladders. xmcpwfu * Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
