CommQuest seeks a Licensed Counselor for our School Based Mental Health (SBMH) Provider Team to deliver counseling services to students and families in K-12 / Continuing education. You will lend your expertise to the behavioral needs of the school environment demonstrating how CommQuest is the top choice for mental health, addiction recovery and community services. CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance. What you gain: * Strong relationships with Stark County Schools students, families, and staff * Visibility into how our community supports those in need * Opportunities to share your expertise * Peace of mind knowing you are benefiting the clients we serve and the community at large What you'll do: * Coordinate, develop, and lead an integrated continuum of care * Address barriers to learning and lead improved behavioral and academic outcomes for students * Develop treatment and discharge plans * Provide strength-based counseling interventions, crisis intervention, and individual/group counseling * All other duties as assigned Schedule: Dayshift; Monday- Friday. Paid Summers. Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field is required * Minimum LPC or LSW from the State of Ohio is required * Minimum of 2+ years post licensure experience a plus * Counselor-Trainee or Social Work-Trainee may be considered with previous experience in the field. Must remain enrolled in a Master's level Clinical Counseling or Social Work program and be registered with OCSWMFTB as a Trainee. Full-Time Benefits: * Generous time off, including Mental Health days * 10 paid holidays annually * Retirement plan with company match * Medical, Dental, and Vision plans * CEU/Licensure reimbursements and Additional Workshops/Trainings: * Up to 16 hours of paid work release annually for workshops, with $200 in funds for CEUs (24 hours and $250 for employees maintaining two licenses). * Licensure fee coverage up to $320 annually for one license. * Flexible work scheduling with supervisor approval to make up time during workshop weeks. * Workshops/Trainings: EMDR, DBT, CDCA, & More * CommQuest Services, Inc. is in partnership with Great Minds Fellowship * Salary listed is base pay.
