As our Community First Teller, you will:
Receive cash and checks for deposit into members accounts
Cash checks for members
Make transactions between accounts as instructed by members
Place proper holds on deposited items for uncollected funds following CFCU policy and procedure
Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit union
Accurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business day
Promote, cross-sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needs
Monday through Friday, and open in the lobby from 8:30 to 5 p.m. On Saturdays, we are open in both the lobby and the driveup from 8 a.m. The schedule for this position encompasses our hours of operation, including a rotating Saturday morning.
A high school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of cash handling experience; previous Teller experience is a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages
