Job Title: Physician Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Location: Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY 42223 Work Schedule: Rotating shifts covering a 24/7 ( ), Monday Sunday Qualifications: Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O). Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canda, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification. Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology within the past 3 years. Experience must include inpatient obstetric care, outpatient gynecology, and surgical OB/GYN procedures such as cesarean deliveries. License/Certification Unrestricted, valid medical license in any U.S. state or territory Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology by ABMS or AOA Bureaus of Osteopathic Specialists Current DEA registration Basic Life Support (BLS) certification U.S. Citizenship is required. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive Obstetric and Gynecologic care to eligible beneficiaries. Conduct outpatient services including prenatal, antenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care. Perform inpatient services, including triage and management of laboring and postpartum patients. Support a high-volume labor and delivery unit (+ deliveries per month). Perform and assist in OB/GYN surgical procedures, including cesarean sections and D&Cs. Respond to emergency room consultations and OB/GYN-related urgent issues. Maintain a minimum of 2.75 patient visits per hour in the clinical setting. Participate in rotating shift coverage ( ); no on-call requirements. Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with DHA and MTF standards. Maintain current credentials, certifications, and complete required DoD training (e.g., HIPAA, OPSEC, Cybersecurity, AT Level I). Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and uphold professional conduct standards. Submit and maintain credentialing documentation in accordance with MTF requirements.
