Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Lead Accountant to help lead financial operations across accounting, payroll, and procurement. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, improving processes, and supporting strategic initiatives. Oversee AP, procurement, and payroll tax processes
Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and audit schedules
Manage tax filings including Form 990 and 990T
Lead capital project accounting, depreciation, and insurance claims
Maintain chart of accounts and record retention compliance
Support banking operations and vendor payment systems
Participate in procurement xrczosw policy and process improvements
Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA preferred)
~5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in non-profit
~ ERP and financial software proficiency (Banner experience a plus)
~ Deep knowledge of GAAP and government accounting standards
~ Skilled in payroll, AP procedures, and financial systems
