Location We are currently seeking a Tax Vice President for our Personal Tax Advisory Group in one of our Northeastern, Ohio offices (Cleveland, Akron, or Wooster). Role Overview The Tax Vice President is a personal tax specialist and advisor responsible for top level management of client relationships and tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and business owners. The role requires high experience in individual, fiduciary, and gift tax compliance and planning, and a strong knowledge of International Tax Planning for individuals is highly desired. The candidate must be highly motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Manage client relationships and ensure all facets of the personal tax engagement are carried out to client expectations. Supervise the Personal Tax Advisory Group’s management team and engage in their career development. Assume top-level responsibility to handle larger and more complex client assignments in the Individual Tax specialty area. Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Minimum 15 years of related experience; advanced degree preferred. Leadership skills to manage and mentor teams. Ability to ensure timely client service and respond to client expectations. Working knowledge of flow-through entity taxation rules. Experience in tax research and business development activities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of tax preparation and tax planning software as well as Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of operating systems. Experience in International Tax Planning and Compliance for individuals is preferred. Base Pay Range $200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr (base compensation) with discretionary year-end bonuses.
