Job Title: Derivatives Analyst
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
FT/PT: Full-Time
Min Hourly Rate ($): 35.00
Max Hourly Rate ($): 40.00
Asset Management, Derivatives, Interpersonal Skills, MS Office
Experience Desired: experience in financial services-preferably within an asset management, investment (3 yrs)
Bachelor’s Degree

Relevant undergraduate education or advanced degree - Business Administration, Finance, Economics, etc


Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous note-taking and strong organizational skills are required to manage complex tasks accurately and independently
• Strong interpersonal skills, unwavering integrity, and the agility to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining good working relationships both internally and externally
• Familiarity with MS Office suite is required


Asset Manager or Insurance Company industry experience is an asset
• Familiarity with derivative instruments is an asset


Coordinate derivatives trading operational readiness internally with middle office, operations and collateral management
• Coordinate with Legal Services to ensure that proper legal agreements are put in place to support derivatives trading
• Ensure that all fund & broker onboarding and legal documentation is maintained as required by the business record retention policy
• Maintain an accurate and complete matrix of accounts, authorized derivative products, derivatives legal agreements and active brokers
• Take ownership of side projects to clean up records and validate broker setups
• Continuously evaluate, identify and recommend practices and controls that will increase process efficiency and mitigate financial and operational risks
