We are seeking a Locum to Permanent Medical Director in Florida. Locum to Permanent Medical Director
Position Type:

Shift: Monday Friday, Full-time

End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:
Patient Population: Frail elderly (55+) certified for nursing home level of care
Setting: PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly)
Responsibilities:
Provide overall medical direction and clinical supervision for participant care
Conduct initial, event-based, and periodic assessments
Develop and manage medical treatment plans
Oversee QAPI program and supervise PCPs and APPs
Participate in interdisciplinary team and family care planning
Educate participants and families on chronic care management
Participate in provider on-call rotation
Required Procedures: General physical exams, chronic care management
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Full interdisciplinary PACE team
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Participation in on-call rotation required
Submission Requirements:
Active Florida physician license Required
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Required
Board Certification in Geriatrics Preferred
DEA and CDS Certification Required
At least 1 year of experience with frail/elderly population Required
Previous supervisory experience Required
