Job Summary and QualificationsObtains quality ultrasound images of patients. Manage all ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic information. Utilize independent judgment and decision making in complex situations involving the administration of diagnostic ultrasound.Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations (i.e. Prepares examination rooms for ultrasound procedures. Reviews each exam for technical accuracy (i.e. technical quality, anatomical positioning, etc.) Assists Facility System Administrator and Ultrasound Supervisor with PACS clean up. ie: unarchived images, unspecifieds, etc.Completes and maintains educational requirementsMaintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patient information according to Policy and ProcedureWhat qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateVocational School GraduateDiagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)Independence Park Imaging is part of the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) family.
