Senior Head of Product

Product Manager III , youll be focusing on supporting a government client in the realm of IT and cloud products. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the unique needs of our government partners. Your expertise in both product management and government processes will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch innovative IT and cloud products.

Build strong relationships with government stakeholders, understanding their requirements, challenges, and objectives.
Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring alignment between the product development roadmap and government priorities.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback gathering to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing offerings.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to define features, functionalities, and project milestones.
Clearly communicate these requirements to development teams and ensure accurate implementation.
Ensure the quality and performance of products meet government standards and compliance requirements.
Coordinate testing and validation processes to guarantee reliability, security, and functionality.
10+ years in product management to include demonstrable experience with cloud products, translating high-level requirements into actionable technical requirements and specifications involving cloud, container, or DevSecOps technologies
~ In-depth understanding of government processes, compliance, and security requirements related to IT and cloud solutions.
~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
~ Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with both technical (e.g. application development, security, DevSecOps) and non-technical (e.g. financial, leadership) stakeholders.
~ Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management tools (GitLab preferred)
~ Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
~ Familiarity with software development lifecycle and technical concepts related to IT and cloud services.
~ Experience establishing standards for customer support to include communications, incident management, and request fulfillment

If a projected salary range is posted for this position, it represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MetroStar's total compensation.
This role may also be eligible for bonuses and/or additional incentives based on individual and company performance.
