Responsibilities Lead planning, design, implementation, testing, and engineering for large-scale cyber defense and security operations program Define guidance on security architecture, assisting clients with reducing their attack surface and optimizing their cyber defensive capabilities to adapt to modern threats Facilitate delivery of large-scale security operations architecture and engineering program Innovate next generation cyber defense solutions that help minimize impact, decrease likelihood, and increase adaptability to cyber threats Innovate cyber threat management and security automation programs leveraging AI and machine learning Present firm-based approaches and messaging at internal training classes, external events, and client meetings Qualifications A minimum of five years of experience in Information Security or in a technology related field Hands-on experience with security data engineering, extract/transformation/load (ETL), scripting and query languages such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, and cloud technologies Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience; cyber security, cyber defense, and/or technical infrastructure certifications Experience designing enterprise-scale technology systems, orchestrating automation and optimizing processes for time and/or cost efficiency Experience with object-oriented programming, software architecture, parameterization, storage/compute optimization and interoperability design Willingness to take a critical eye to security tooling capabilities and present defendable, technical justifications for decisions and designs Ability and willingness to travel, work in a fast paced, results driven environment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid pace Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future Employment details KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
