Job Title: Senior Drywall Project Manager / Estimator Location: Orlando, FL Employment Type: Full-Time Salary : $80,000 - $120,000 + Benefits The Opportunity Our client is a premier, full-service interior and specialty construction contractor with a decades-long reputation for excellence in the Florida market. They specialize in delivering complex, high-quality commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling solutions. Our client is seeking a seasoned Projecty Manager, with a strong background in estimating, to join their Orlando team and lead key commercial drywall projects from inception to completion Your Role As a Drywall Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind their commercial projects. This is a critical, full-lifecycle role that blends operations, estimating, and client management. You will be responsible for accurately bidding projects and then managing them to ensure they are executed safely, on time, and within budget, all while serving as the primary point of contact for their clients. What You'll Do Project Management: Oversee all phases of commercial drywall projects, including take-offs, material orders, scheduling, communication, and final punch lists. Estimating & Bidding: Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to develop accurate, competitive, and profitable bid proposals. Financial Control: Track and maintain daily control over project budgets. Manage all project billing, prepare monthly payment requests, and follow up on collections. Client & Sales Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, GCs, and vendors. Lead consultative sales efforts, guiding customers from initial contact through project closeout. Business Development: Build a network of qualified leads through referrals, industry networking, and other methods to identify and capture new market share. Technical Expertise: Use your deep knowledge of drywall installation to troubleshoot field issues, anticipate challenges, and negotiate material buyouts for the best possible pricing. What Our Client is Looking For 4-10+ years of proven project management experience specifically in commercial drywall and/or acoustical ceiling projects. Strong proficiency and recent experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBid . Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, from bidding to closeout. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently. Strong communication and leadership skills. Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points) An Associate’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A background in consultative selling or business development within the construction industry.
