POSITION SUMMARY/CLASS DESCRIPTION

BRIEF DESCRIPTION : A variety of instructional classes are offered throughout the County such as: creative and dramatic arts, dance, movement, cooking and general children's recreational classes.

DUTIES :
  • To teach, organize and supervise an instructional class in a specific area of expertise.
  • Oversee use of facilities.
  • Keep records of class attendance.
  • Ensure physical and emotional safety of program participants.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS :
  • Sufficient skill in a specific area.
  • Ability to develop a teaching plan for a diversified group of people.
  • Ability to demonstrate skills and to communicate directions effectively.
EXPERIENCE : At least two years of experience in specific program area.

EDUCATION : Possess experience and/or formal training of the specific skill.

RATE OF PAY :
Contingent - Professional
Minimum wage-$32.00 per hour

Salary commensurate with experience and experience.
