A healthcare organization in New York is currently seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their Hospitalist program on a travel contract. This is a flexible schedule opportunity with competitive rates and the chance to work with a collaborative inpatient team. About the Opportunity: Location: New York (travel assignment) Shift: Days & Nights available Schedule: Flexible, 12-hour shifts Setting: Inpatient hospitalist coverage Assignment Length: 6 months with possible extension No on-call required Responsibilities: The Hospitalist APP will be responsible for: Providing direct inpatient care Managing admissions and discharges Collaborating with attending physicians and residents Documenting in EMR (EPIC) Supporting continuity of patient care Qualifications: 2+ years of hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred Master's degree and active state license required Board Certification (ANCC/AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs) Current ACLS certification Strong critical care and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Desired Skills: Experience with inpatient hospitalist or ICU coverage Familiarity with EPIC EMR Ability to work flexible schedules
