Opening: Physicians Specialty: Interventional/Vascular Radiology Position Type: Locum Tenens Facility: Inpatient and Outpatient Location: North Carolina Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 60-90 days) Length: Ongoing Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7a-7p, call schedule rotation 1:6 or 1:7 (includes nights & weekends) Details: Seeking two Board Certified Interventional/Vascular Radiologist to provide locums coverage in Eastern NC. Onsite Monday - Friday, 7a-7p with rotation into call schedule either 1:6 or 1:7, which will include nights and weekends. Level 1 Trauma Center with 974 beds Inpatient clinical responsibilities Avg # of inpatient census: 12/day Anticipated volume per day: up to 25 patients/day Avg # of patients/day/provider: 6-8 Volume: Outpatient 50% vs Inpatient 50% ICU/critical care duties - None Clinical responsibilities will include rounding, consults, patient history, physical examinations, ordering of diagnostic tests, patient education, bedside procedures and providing outpatient care LT not required to remain on site while on call. LT will respond to codes. LT will not be required as backup in the ER. Less than 1% of visits (outpatient) become admissions.
