Along with the nations largest 503A sterile injectable outsourcing network, CAPS offers industry-leading batch compounding on a national scale . Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in the preparation of sterile IV medications in a 503A compounding pharmacy under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions, using aseptic technique. Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing. Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT High school diploma/G.
Aseptic processing training/experience desired, training will be provided. Schedule: Part time (9am-5:30pm) weekdays and weekends. Holidays/Overtime as needed.
