As the Director of Product, you will define and drive the product vision that connects our mission with the evolving needs of public sector and defense industrial base customers. You will shape how we design, package, and deliver toolagnostic solutions that accelerate digital transformation and ensure bestinclass outcomes for federal agencies.
This role blends strategic product leadership, solution innovation, and deep market insight. You will ensure that every product initiative reinforces our value to missioncritical customers and positions Valiantys Federal as a leader in delivering scalable, secure, and forwardleaning solutions across the public sector ecosystem.
Define the overarching product strategy that aligns with public sector modernization priorities and Valiantys Federals mission.
Translate market insights, customer needs, and mission requirements into a clear, actionable product roadmap.
SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT & PACKAGING
Partner with engineering, delivery, and sales leadership to validate feasibility, repeatability, and customer impact.
MARKET & CUSTOMER INSIGHT
Monitor emerging technologies, procurement trends, and evolving modernization drivers across federal agencies and the defense industrial base.
Engage directly with customers, mission owners, and partners to refine product needs and validate value propositions.
Enable delivery teams with clear product definitions, reference architectures, and implementation standards.
PERFORMANCE & LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
Establish KPIs to measure product adoption, performance, and customer impact.
Identify opportunities to streamline or retire offerings based on market demand and organizational priorities.
Strong background in defining product strategy, building roadmaps, and launching marketready offerings.
~ Experience with Atlassian technologies, enterprise workflow platforms, or DevSecOps toolchains.
Understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, cloud, workflow orchestration) within modernization initiatives.
Improved differentiation and market positioning across public sector segments.
Positive customer outcomes tied to productdriven value and mission alignment.
