Locum Tenens Opportunity: Urology Physician Near Campobello, SC We are seeking experienced Urology Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity near Campobello, SC. Position Overview: Profession : Physician Specialty : Urology Rate Type : On Call (Daily) Emergency/Temp Privileges : No Shift Type : 24-Hour Call (6 AM - 6 AM) Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing, with future coverage needs starting in 2025 Weekend Requirements : Yes On Call Requirements : Yes Key Responsibilities: Call Schedule : Provide 24-hour on-call coverage, from 6 AM to 6 AM. Handle ED and inpatient cases, focusing exclusively on adult and geriatric patients. Average number of hospital-based surgeries: 2-5 per weekend. Procedures Required : Ureteroscopy Laparoscopic Surgeries General Urology Trauma Nephrectomy Partial Nephrectomies/Intraoperative Ultrasound Incontinence Procedures Daily Duties : Average number of patients per day: 15-20. Perform and manage urological procedures independently, as no other urologists will be present during your assignment. Facility Details: Documentation System : Epic EMR Lab and X-Ray : Onsite Trauma Level/Designation : Level II Qualifications: Certification : Board Certified in Urology (Required) License : Active South Carolina medical license (Required) Background : 100% clean background (Required) Experience : No new grads; extensive experience, positive ratings, and comprehensive training required Certifications : BLS/ACLS preferred This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Urologist to contribute to a vital locum coverage pool and provide exceptional care.
