Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Mechanic role located in Anchorage, AK. The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and ensuring the functionality of heavy machinery used in tree care and related services. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining operational readiness and equipment performance. Our fleet includes Pickup trucks and smaller dump trucks Brush chippers and stump grinders Equipment trailers and small machinery Qualifications Solid knowledge of automotive repair, diesel, hydraulics, electrical, and welding Ability to stay organized, work efficiently, and take charge without constant supervision Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and address mechanical and operational issues Knowledge of safety practices and standards for equipment maintenance Ability to work in a physical, hands-on role in varying outdoor conditions Relevant certifications or training in mechanics or equipment repair are a plus Valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred but not required Clean background check What We Offer $40–$50/hr (based on experience) Year-round, full-time position, steady hours Paid time off Health insurance 401(k) with company match Great crew, new shop, and reliable equipment Occasionally travel to our Wasilla branch If you meet the requirements and you’re ready to run the show — send your resume and a brief summary of your experience. xrczosw We’re hiring for skill, pride, and accountability.
