The Brooklyn Cyclones, High-A affiliate of the New York Mets, bring exciting baseball and a lively fan experience to Maimonides Park in Coney Island. Position Summary

The Brooklyn Cyclones are seeking an experienced, results-oriented executive to serve as President of the club. The President is accountable for the club's overall business performance, brand, and day-to-day leadership, setting strategic direction, owning financial and operational results, and representing the organization to the New York Mets, Minor League Baseball, local government, community partners, and fans. The President leads the clubs senior leadership team while providing strategic and operational oversight across ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, food & beverage, merchandise, and stadium operations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading a large-scale consumer, sports, or hospitality business, with a proven record of driving revenue, developing teams, and cultivating key stakeholder relationships. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Regional Vice President (RVP), Northeast Region.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary local leader and public face of the Brooklyn Cyclones, representing the club and DBH within the community, to league partners, and to the media
  • Own the club's annual budget and P&L performance, setting and driving revenue and expense targets in partnership with DBH finance leadership
  • Direct all club business operations, including ticket sales & service, corporate partnerships, marketing & promotions, food & beverage/concessions, merchandise, and stadium operations
  • Maintain the Club’s compliance with Major League Baseball’s Professional Development License (PDL), including facility, player development, and operational standards
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable the club's senior leadership team in setting priorities and ensuring execution against club and DBH goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the New York Mets (MLB affiliate), Minor League Baseball, city and county officials, community organizations, and key business partners
  • Partner with DBH corporate departments to ensure club operations align with organizational policies and initiatives
  • Drive fan experience, attendance, and revenue-growth initiatives across the club
  • Oversee staffing decisions for senior club leadership, including hiring, performance management, and separation decisions, in partnership with HR and Legal
